The challenge: growth had to reach the installation schedule

Standard lead generation would only solve part of the problem.

Awning Works needed homeowners in the right service areas who were willing to discuss a real project. The goal was to turn that interest into consultations and sold work, keeping installers busy as the business expanded.

That put pressure on both sides of the process. Advertising had to bring in demand. The sales team had to reach those homeowners while the project was still on their minds.

A larger lead count would mean little if the next step broke down.

Our approach: build the route from interest to consultation

We gave Google and Meta different roles. Google reached homeowners actively searching for awnings and screens. Meta introduced the products to new audiences and gave interested homeowners an easy way to enquire.

Dedicated landing pages and our proprietary quiz funnels helped people take the next step while giving the team useful information about their project. Alongside them, Meta lead forms offered a lower-friction route to contact.

The balance mattered. We needed enough volume to support growth, without losing sight of who was enquiring and what the sales team needed to know.

We also split northern and southern service areas into separate campaigns. That let us manage demand around the territories the team could serve, rather than treating every enquiry as equally useful.

More demand created a new challenge

As enquiries grew, appointment setters came under pressure. Generating the next lead was no longer the only problem to solve. The business also needed a better way to handle the leads already arriving.

We deployed SMAI sales automation, combining AI voice calls and automated follow-up with 24/7 response. With an initial response within 60 seconds, homeowners could hear back while their interest was still fresh, rather than wait for a gap in someone's call list.

Qualification questions gathered details about the project. Follow-up kept the conversation moving, while notifications brought the human team in when needed.

That gave appointment setters support at the point where growth was creating pressure. Advertising and sales follow-up could work as one process, instead of leaving the team to absorb more demand on its own.
