Retractable Awning and Screen · Case study
Local campaigns, product-specific landing pages, and sales reviews helped a West Michigan installer turn demand into work without overlooking capacity.
Sales doubled alongside an increase in booked appointments.
More enquiries were only part of the job. Retractable Awning and Screen needed homeowners who would take the next step, book an appointment and buy.
Early results gave the owner confidence. But they also raised a bigger question: how could the business win more work without getting ahead of its installation capacity?
The answer required more than another campaign. We needed to understand what the business could sell, where it could grow and how much work it was ready to take on.
The initial focus was awnings. But the client also sold screens, a product they had held back from advertising to keep costs and complexity under control.
We worked with them to bring screens into the campaign programme. We built a dedicated landing page and added product-specific ads, giving homeowners a clear route to enquire about the solution they needed.
Across the landing pages and quiz funnels, we refined the offers and removed unnecessary steps. One change was dropping the preferred contact-time question to make it easier to complete an enquiry.
We also supported the client's Home Show appearance with a local campaign. Ads highlighted the offer and booth location, backed by a landing page and targeting around the event. The advertising supported a real sales opportunity already on the owner's calendar.

We ran Google and Meta, then looked beyond the number of enquiries each produced. We reviewed appointment and sales records and stayed in direct contact with the owner to understand what was happening after a lead came in.
That distinction mattered. Our subsequent sales review showed Google producing more sold projects than Meta, despite Meta's higher lead volume. We recommended putting more weight behind the channel bringing in buyers.
When the owner explored expansion, we researched nearby markets and prepared sales and budget projections. But we did not treat a larger budget as the automatic next step. Installation capacity had to be part of the plan.
Early monthly reporting showed twice as many Google-generated sales and 83% more booked appointments. The client was positive about the results and wanted to explore further growth.
Our role extended from creating demand to helping the owner decide what to do with it: which products to promote, where to invest and when the business was ready for more work.
